The Yonge Corridor Condominium Association (YCCA) is pleased to have presented our annual Concierge of the Year Award for 2025 to Jitendra (Jiten) Khetia at Skyview on Yonge. Jiten has been at Skyview on Yonge for 17 years and is responsible for the safety and security of the building and its occupants. Although the building is monitored by cameras throughout it is challenging to monitor the many camera feeds in addition to keeping track of visitors, contractors, PSWs, housekeepers, vehicles and so many packages!

This is what his community said about him, “Jiten does all of this (above) while maintaining a calm and pleasant demeanor. One would hardly know if his day was particularly demanding or if a crisis was developing but one can always be sure that our community is secure under his watchful eyes.

He enforces the rules and responds to emergency situations such as flooding from a unit, aggressive animals, aggressive residents, utility outages, elevator issues, medical emergencies and more. He is the repository for residents’ gripes and complaints. He does it all calmly, with discretion and respect for residents’ privacy.

Jiten makes an effort to know the residents by name (no doubt in large part for purposes of security) thereby fostering the sense of a warm and welcoming community. He also welcomes our four-legged friends. All the dogs in the building know he keeps a stash of treats at the front desk and they eagerly run to him upon entry. Jiten is the face and the heart of Skyview.”

Jiten received a framed Concierge of the Year certificate presented by YCCA President, Jane Brackley, and a $100 Restaurant gift card.

The Concierge of the Year Award is presented yearly. Applications can be found on the YCCA website and submitted at any point though out the calendar year. Nominate your candidate for 2026.
